How can we help?

Answers to common questions – and if anything is left open, just write to us.

Frequently asked questions

Which file formats can I upload?

STL, OBJ and STEP up to 100 MB. STL works most reliably.

Do I need an account?

No. You can upload and configure right away as a guest. With an account you will find your models later under “My uploads”.

How is the price calculated?

While configuring, we estimate material and printing costs from the actual volume of your model, the chosen filament and the quantity. After your request you receive a binding offer that you can accept with one click on your status page.

I do not have a 3D file – can you still help?

Yes. Send us a link to a model (for example from Printables or Thingiverse) or a photo or sketch of the part using the form below. We will get back to you with an assessment.

Is my request binding and how do I pay?

Your request is non-binding. We check your model and accept the order – then you receive a payment link by email. You can pay with PayPal, card, Klarna & more or by bank transfer; the order only becomes binding with your payment. Shipping with DHL (cost depends on parcel size) or free pickup in Paderborn.

How can I see how my request is progressing?

After submitting, you receive an email with a link to your status page. There you can see the current state at any time – from request and offer to shipping.

Which material suits my part?

You will find an overview of the available filaments and their properties on the “Materials” page. If in doubt, just write to us below.

How do I prepare my file?

The model should be closed (“watertight”) and exported in millimetres. Very thin walls below about 1 mm often cannot be printed cleanly.
